Highlights
The Software Development Kit allows you to develop client applications that access automation projects via interfaces provided by various servers. Client applications can be written in any programming language that is supported by the component object model (COM)—Visual-Basic, Visual C++ or Visual Basic Application (VBA).
The projects, data and objects are thus made accessible to external tools.
A UDE client application may access the automation servers by either of two methods:
Dynamic access, via a COM or a distributed (DCOM) interface
Static access, by way of XML data exchanges
