The rotating axis is a mechanical axis, typically used in packaging machines. The destructive test consisted in removing oil from the gearbox, in order to induce anomalies that would lead to a failure (which happened 11 days after the oil have been removed). This data sets was produced to demonstrate the analytic component Distribution Based Fault Detection (DBFD). This component detects faults using univariate density comparison. A micro app enables to easily use the component, both at training and detection phases.
