The SQL4automation Connector runs as a lightweight service in the background and can be installed on Windows and Linux systems. It can be easily configured using the Configuration Tool.

Easy to use configuration tool

With the S4A-Config Tool you can set up and test database connections. It shows an overview of all connections and allows you to configure your links. The Config Tool can be installed alongside the connector, or on a different device in the same network.

Debugger tool

The S4A-Debugger is an extensive diagnoses tool for all type of reports. It records all connections and highlights false SQL queries as well as queries which do not return any values. This greatly facilitates the troubleshooting, saves valuable commissioning time and reduces downtimes and idle times. The Debugger can be installed alongside the connector, or on a different device in the same network.

Query tool

The S4A-Query-Tool tests the connection between the Connector and the database as well as the SQL commands. As soon as a SQL command is correct it can be copied to the controller via Ctrl+C Ctrl+V. This enables you to speed up the development and testing of your requests. The Query Tool can be installed alongside the connector, or on a different device in the same network.

    • In our Ultimate version, a user has up to n times 10 simultaneous connections (1 Link connects 1 PLC to 1 database) which can be established from one or more PLCs to one or more databases. The amount of data is not limited.
