Overview

EcoStruxure™ Plant Architectures for lithium brine mining

The objective of this document is to propose a flexible automation architecture that meets the requirements to operate the latest process technology selected in such harsh environment. In addition to this document Schneider Electric has also developed recommendation for Lithium Power Systems.

The reference architectures are based on Schneider Electric’s IoT-enabled EcoStruxure™ Plant Architecture, which facilitates the management of different automation profiles to match the different requirements of the sub-segments in the mining industry.

Mining process operations are becoming more complex. The decline of mineral grades, strict regulations and today’s economic landscape require mining companies to optimize their operations and processes.

The global mining industry needs new, intelligent and easy-to-use process control and optimization tools. Our process control solutions provide simple and seamless integration of mining and mineral processing automation.
