Overview

IoT sensor nodes for air quality monitoring

Sensirion Sensor-as-a-Service allows production, yield and quality managers to enable real-time, high-resolution air quality insights to improve factory yields, process quality, employee health and energy costs.

An environmental sensor network typically consists of anywhere between ten to several thousand sensor nodes, which communicate via mesh network protocols. Sensor data is uploaded via gateways to the cloud. Sensirion offers customized dashboards, alarms, network calibrations and data validation services.

Sensirion has expertise in calibration and operation of larger sensor networks and offers IoT air quality sensor solutions. The sensor network measures particulate matter, CO2, VOC, temperature and humidity. Our end-to-end solutions include sensor node hardware, gateways, cloud connectivity and dashboards, as well as periodic sensor maintenance.

Benefits

Optimize HVAC systems in large factories and save money

Achieve improved understanding of air temperature and humidity distribution enabling energy-efficient optimization of the air ventilation systems. Filter and ventilation costs can be further reduced by optimizing and cross-checking heating and cooling control loops.

Sustainable air quality KPI reporting

Help attract and retain global talent and steer organizations in the right direction, where health and well-being are at the forefront.

Track and compare air quality

Track environmental parameters in the factories of your global supply chain partners and compare air quality events with production yield.

Cater to EHS and customer factory auditors

Access real-time air data that can be used to calculate annual exposure times of employees, in line with WHO recommendations, and enable better control and understanding of factory events to answer audit needs.
